RAMS LINEMAN DAMIONE LEWIS AND CHUNKY SOUP HELP THE FOODBANK TACKLE HUNGER

ST. LOUIS, MO -- September
17, 2001 -- How much do you think St. Louis Rams lineman Damione Lewis weighs - in cans of
Campbell's Chunky Soup? On Sept. 7, Lewis and the Rams donated more than 4,300 cans of
Campbell Soup to the St. Louis Area Foodbank based upon the weigh in.
As part of Campbell's Chunky/NFL Tackling Hunger 2001
program, linemen throughout the NFL are "weighed-in" on a giant soupspoon scale
during NFL training camps. Campbell donates 10 times each participating players
weight in Chunky Soup to a local food bank. Since 1997, Campbell and the NFL have been
working together to tackle hunger, resulting in more than 20 million pounds of food being
donated to food banks across the country.
